[12.01.28] Shinhwa Comeback Confirmed Through Street Banners
Popular boy band Shinhwa has hit the streets to announce its March comeback through a series of banners that have been raised throughout Seoul. On January 27, banners stating “We, Shinhwa, will keep our promise. 20120324” sprung up all over Seoul and related photos were released via the group’s agency Shinhwa Company.
Shinhwa suspended its group promotions after its 10-year anniversary concert, and the members went off to complete their mandatory military service. However, the members promised to return to their fans as a group for the first time in four years on March 24, and the banners symbolize the group’s resolve to keep its promise. A Shinhwa company rep said, “The Shinhwa members are making an effort to come back with a better image by working out, abstaining from alcohol and even laying down rules together like they did during their rookie days when they lived together.” Many are curious to see what kind of comeback the group, whose members promised at their 10th anniversary concert, “Shinhwa will undoubtedly return, and we will be together even when we die,” will make. Meanwhile, the Shinhwa members are currently absorbed in completing the group’s 10th album and preparing for their comeback concert. The group is expected to begin their full-fledged promotions in March once member Lee Min Woo is discharged from the military.
